WHAT WE DO

Specializing in automobile and cargo inspections for transportation companies, automobile and cargo manufacturers, and marine insurance companies.

We provide quality inspections and accurate electronic reporting.

We do Surveying

Pre-Load & Discharge Surveys
Whether you need a full inspection or a verification/counter survey, we offer thorough and high-quality inspections using customer-provided standards to safeguard against unjust claims. Our surveys include comprehensive reports, photos, repair recommendations, and estimated repair costs(when applicable or requested)

On board cargo inspections involve a thorough assessment of cargo during loading or unloading to ensure its safety, security, and damage assessment. The process typically includes checking the condition of the cargo, verifying its proper stowage and securing methods.  Inspectors also examine the vessel’s ramps, internal spaces, and securing equipment for any potential damage or wear that could compromise the cargo’s integrity. Detailed reports are generated, highlighting any issues and offering recommendations for corrective action if necessary. These inspections help prevent cargo damage, reduce the risk of claims, and ensure smooth, efficient operation.

Damage in Transit inspections and collision estimating involve a comprehensive evaluation of cargo and equipment that may have been impacted during transportation, whether by road, rail, or ocean. These inspections focus on identifying and documenting any visible damage caused by external factors such as rough handling, environmental conditions, or accidents during transit. Inspectors assess the extent of the damage to the cargo, packaging, and any associated infrastructure, including vehicles or containers.

In the case of collisions, the process includes estimating the costs of repairs or replacements, considering the severity of the impact, the type of damage sustained, and the cost of labor and materials for repairs. Inspectors gather evidence, such as photographs, reports, and damage assessments, to provide a thorough evaluation that helps determine liability, facilitate claims, and support insurance processes. The goal is to ensure accurate damage assessments and cost estimates, protecting both the shipper and carrier from unnecessary financial losses while ensuring that corrective actions are taken to prevent future incidents.

Biosecurity Remediation refers to the process of identifying, addressing, and mitigating risks related to biological threats or contamination in a specific environment. New vehicles being exported to Australia and New Zealand can pose a potential biosecurity risk if they are not properly inspected, cleaned, and treated before arrival. The main biosecurity risks include the introduction of foreign seeds, soil, and plant material. To mitigate these biosecurity risks, new vehicles being exported to Australia must undergo a thorough inspection, cleaning, and treatment process to ensure that they are free from any potential biosecurity risks. The process includes the removal of all bio, seeds, soil, and plant material.

Petrucela and Company has pioneered and developed a comprehensive strategy to mitigate these risks on numerous makes and models in four season conditions.
